ON THE REcampus WEBSITE:

  • While WSRAR sponsors online continuing education courses, the courses are provided by Dearborn Education, a national Real Estate Publishing Company. When you purchase an online course, you are paying Dearborn Education.
  • The NC Real Estate Commission requires that any online course be completed within 30 days of the purchase date & time. When you purchase your course, you will receive a very important email with information about your course and the exact date that your course will expire. Your course will expire at the same time you registered 30 days later. Please read this email carefully and keep it, noting the expiration date. The NC Real Estate Commission will not allow us to extend your course for any reason.
  • The cost for online courses is $45.00.
  • The only courses that are offered online are elective courses. At this time, there three (3) online elective courses that WSRAR sponsors. The NC Real Estate Commission does not provide the Mandatory Update in an online format.
  • If you should experience any type of technical difficulty, please contact Dearborn 's Technical Support team immediately. Their number is 1-800-621-9621, and is also provided in the email you receive after purchasing your course. Usually, any of the problems you experience are very minor and can be fixed quickly and easily.
  • After purchasing your online course, you do not have to complete it all at once. The course bookmarks where you stop each time, so you can take as much time as you need, as long as you complete it within the 30 day time frame.
  • The NC Real Estate Commission does not require a final exam on continuing education courses. Therefore, when you finish your course, it will not show 100% complete, but should be somewhere in the 90% complete range. If you feel that you've finished, but your course does not show that you're in the 90% range, it usually means that you've overlooked reading a session or a quiz. Please note that a session quiz will not show up as complete until you've passed it with at least a 90%.
  • Please always use the buttons in the course itself to maneuver through the course from page to page, or to exit the course. If you use your internet browser buttons, right click, or use the internet browser button to exit, your course will not recognize that you have completed a session or quiz, and will therefore not show the session/quiz as complete.
  • Please do not share an email address with anyone else who is taking an online course. Dearborn Education tracks each person's course through their email address. Therefore, if you share an email address with another person, one person or the other will have their information deleted, which means one of you will not receive credit for the course you purchase.
